Atmosphere
I was sitting at my desk, slightly exhausted from having spent hours organizing images for the other Galleries displayed on my site. I had assembled photos of people, industrial remains, and architecture. Subjects with strongly defined structure. I hadn’t found a place for one of my favorite photos of Gabrielle, taken on a Sunday morning over our anniversary weekend as she slept. Nor had I found a place for softer images of sunsets, of a total solar eclipse taken from an airplane, or of a shark silently passing by. These images speak with a softer voice, but with no less intensity.
